When the restaurant, Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine, opened in 2001, it was hailed as the beginning of a new chapter in Texas cuisine and has become a premier dining destination in Texas. Chef Jon Bonnell’s distinctive culinary style has made him a shining star chef.

Chef Bonnell’s team of classically trained chefs and culinary professionals have helped Bonnell’s earn the distinction of Rising Star of American Cuisine by the James Beard Foundation, one of the Top Ten Restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex by the 2006 Zagat Survey Texas Restaurants, Top Fort Worth Restaurant and Best Southwest Restaurant by Fort Worth, Texas magazine, and Best Chef and Best Restaurant by Fort Worth Weekly.

Chef Bonnell has appeared many times on national radio and television, including a feature on ABC’s Nightline, Food Networks’ BBQ with Bobby Flay and Family Net, and is a regular guest on local television talk shows and news features.
