It would be difficult to find anyone more in touch with the punk music than George Gimarc. Not only did he originate one of America's first new wave radio programs, The Rock & Roll Alternative, which ran continuously for fourteen years, but he was also the driving force behind KDGE radio in Dallas: one of the nation's leading new rock stations with an audience in the hundreds of thousands. He continues to add to his music collection which exceeds 65,000 records.
